Dr. Akande Kazeem Babatunde is a Nigerian national and an accomplished scholar with diverse academic qualifications. He holds an OND in Agricultural Engineering from the Federal College of Agriculture, Moor Plantation, Ibadan, and a B.Agric in Soil Science and Land Management from the University of Agriculture, Ogun State. He further earned both MSc and Ph.D degrees in Educational Management and Marketing from ESPAM-Formation University, Benin Republic.
He has received several honorary doctorates in Leadership and Community Development (ISFOP-Benin University), Entrepreneurship Development (ESFAM University), Educational Management (HEIM Weldios University), and Peace and Conflict Management (PROWESS University, Delaware, USA). He has also participated in notable executive and professional trainings, including programs at The National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (PSLC 47, 2023), Agricultural and Rural Management Training Institute (ARMTI), Administrative Staff College of Nigeria (ASCON), and Spy Policing Training at the Police Training College, Ikeja.
Dr. Akande is the Director General of THINKRITE Global Strategic Consulting Limited, leading initiatives in management training, organizational development, institutional strengthening, and capacity building. He is a Certified Public Administrator (CPA), President of the Ecolerite Institute for Peace Advancement (PEIPA), and Chairman of the Governing Council of the African Institute for Justices of the Peace.
He is a fellow of several professional bodies, including the Africa Institute of Public Administration (FAI), International Academy for Gender and Peace (FIAGP), Institute of Personality Development and Customer Relationship Management (FPD-CR), and also holds the Justice of the Peace (JP) title in Oyo State. His dedication has earned him numerous awards, including the United Nations Distinguished Leadership Award, Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Award, and the Africa Peace Ambassador Award.
He is active in community and professional organizations, including Rotary, where he completed multiple leadership courses (RLIN Part I–III and graduate courses), as well as the Ibadan Tennis Club and Recreation Club. He also holds traditional chieftaincy titles.
Dr. Akande is happily married with children. His interests include networking, playing table tennis, and investigative research.
